image.jpg Well I finally got to cross the line into WA today to rescue parts I had at my US mailbox (they were stored right beside the Ark of the Covenant). Had a piece from Alchemy, a couple of things from Vern Tardell, outer rockers for my ‘47 Buick.

However....I also ordered four p/n 5736 from “Clark/Thomas Redlands CA. I have no idea what these things are for nor their application since it’s been so long.

So if anyone can ID them or knows of Clark /Thomas I would appreciate the info...

A little too thick for that but thanks anyway. I feel a little foolish but it is a bit funny.

It not the age it’s the supply chain! My memory is perfect. The fellow who is supposed to deliver from my memory to my consciousness takes unauthorized breaks whenever he chooses. Items usually show up around 3:00 AM!

But I did an email search and then a “conversations” search and found that I’m a proud owner some spring retainers for my ‘56 Meteor! So all is well...

Good talking to you tonight. I'll check on the rubber spacers and get back to you tomorrow. Glad you finally were able to cross the border and pick up the spring retainers.

    Might they be seatbelt anchors?

Kinda like an early Xmas present. Happens to me when I’m going through “stuff” and find a box I didn’t open, see a shipping date from a year or so ago.
I do a mini face palm and ask myself “why did I buy this and what for”?

My latest find was two weeks ago. Electric choke for a Holley from early in 2020.
It’s not old age, I attribute it to drinking and buying;)
