im building a 32 roadster high boy with a 390 cad engine and need someone in the los angeles area to help build the headers. i have a tig welder
Here on the H.A.M.B. from Sutton Speed, post - link - https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...90-engine-build-for-my-34-ford-coupe.1153370/ Some nice fitting headers.
X2 Buy a heap of mandrel bent U-bends and a length of tube and there are companies in the US that laser cut the flanges that bolt on the heads for all sorts of engines, even a 390 Caddy. This is what my son and I did for my 401 Nailhead- I wanted to buy a set of Sanderson headers but he said they were too street-roddy LOL With a coat of HPC satin black the finished items look OK. Then we did the rest of the system, joint flanges, mufflers and pipes out the back. As someone on here says " I may not be the best welder but I'm a damn good grinder"
I'm going to assume that you already have the flanges available at Cadillac 365-429 Exhaust Flange - Hells Gate Hot Rods and the bends and other tubing and need someone who can tig weld and fabricate to help on it.
