Hello, To “keep the spirits bright…” during this winter holiday, the color red comes to light more so than in any other month. So, the latest hot rod drawing was of this RPU that could have been what my brother was thinking about after our incident at Lion’s Dragstrip. Add in a Gary Cagle Hemi Motor courtesy of the “Nakamura Good Teen Scholarship Program” and we would have been in business all over again. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...no-explanation.1143737/page-715#post-14708480 Jnaki We realized this version was alright. Perhaps, a little too much power for a short wheelbase roadster. But two large teens would not be able to fit comfortably, so an extended area was drawn. If it did show up in our small garage, the after Christmas Sales will have to wait until we take a nice winter cruise up or down the coastline in or So Cal area. A lowered rake, full power and a little intimidation going down the road…. Happy Holidays to everyone… If only, it would fit in our small two car garage...

Hello, Well, the big day is over and everyone is getting back to normal...sort of. So far, our family get together was successful with great food and togetherness. We got updated on all of the gossip and family matters, too. Before we got to our granddaughter's house, we saw what was the last activity of the Big Guy in the red hat and clothes for a long while. He and the Mrs. C were off to a well deserved rest at the nearby beach. No one was at the beach in the 70 degree weather, but that was the point for them. A day spent relaxing looking at the big blue ocean and wondering how he/they did all that activity at night. Jnaki The joys of Christmas still lingers in all of us... especially in So Cal, where vacations during the winter just seem like the thing to do, despite the pandemic and social distancing. The happy couple were going to do their own "social distancing" from all of us for the next 364 days... Palm Trees and all that good empty beach stuff during the holidays... Happy Holidays !
I enjoyed browsing this thread. Lots of nice RED cars herein. Red is one of the most difficult colors to photograph accurately. It's hard to get it to reproduce exactly as the eye sees it.
Here's mine. Ace Hardware Banner Red spray can. Even with the siren and "Fire"light, they still won't let me drive as fast as I want
