In 1966 he was 24. He kept the car all these years. It sure seems like it should run again as it hasn’t officially died yet.
Sorry, I don`t have cable. You are side tracking us again. N F R? And I`m the guy with Albert the Bull in my Avatar.
National Finals Rodeo. Watching my old neighbors nephew try for his 4th world title. Tim O’Connell from Zwingle. It’s the only 10 nights I like TV.
I've been following your amazing build and am just staggered by your skill. I do have a question that I have been meaning to ask for some time now, so here goes, in the attached photo and in many, many others, on the shelf in the background is a hood with six door vents. I'm wondering if that hood is off a 1933 Buick 90 Series? Sure looks quite similar to my old '33 Buick Victoria.
Exhumed some bodies today. Trying get him to sell me his good stuff. I bought these for parts and to put out the word I am a buyer for the rest of his hoard. It is all going to hell if he doesn’t do something soon.
Guess that why the trunk lid looked like it had a crack. Starting to think I should have passed on this pile of krust.
Oh, it just needs a little patch and some hammer/dolly work. You'll be surprised when you get the fix done in only an hour. Kinda makes you wonder why the original builder didn't spend that extra hour to do it right.
I want to saw the merc four door is a 42. I’ve only even seen shots of it from the front. Gorgeous car
Sometimes you just have to say that’s what hammers and filler are for and trudge on. I think I need to find a little krustier license surround, but I like the look.
4 doors can look great with the right treatment like this Valley Custom Shop custom. Maybe build it too?
Mental break since my “part time” job will be nearly 40 hours this week. Thinking of narrowing the rear bumper and hiding the seam behind the plate, mount the taillights even across with the bottom of the decklid, and rounding the corners to the height of the taillight.
Instead of narrowing the bumper, it might be easier to just expand the pan behind the bumper at the ends to fill the gap between the bumper and body. Just a thought... especially with your metal working skills!!
That's it!! Finish the expansion of the pan to factory clearances on the pan now. It will look natural. I mated 40 pickup running boards to 36 car front fenders and flattened the ribs at the front to match the pattern at the back of the running board and it looked mostly factory to me... just wish I could have done the same quality of work!
Thinking of adding a little recontouring to the roundness of the rear of the fender when I make the patch panel for the two taillight repairs. Thinking of adding a little recontouring to the roundness of the rear of the fender when I make the patch panel for the two taillight repairs.
Look what's laying on my garage floor! I got it with something! Hard to see but the backs of the uprights are finished with a wire coming out. Probably got the right bumper irons on it, too!
Ribbed taillights, ribbed wheel covers, ribbed bumpers, and ribbed headlight rings, may I should call this Her Pleasure instead of Krustom
You aren't ribbing us are you? I love the theme. Body molding toward bumper looks cool, too. Keep workin'!!
