RIP Todd! Gone way too soon.

Even though he hasn't been on the HAMB the last couple years his reputation and good will are remembered by a huge number of us. Few and far between are folks like him.

It takes somebody special to draw a crowd to Wayland, Missouri- and if you’ve ever been there you’d understand! Always enjoyed his humor and whenever he was around a good time was to be had. I have a Dekalb corn sign from one of my visits to see him. Strange memento to have of him but I’m sure he’d have something funny to say about it.
RIP Breeder- you truly were one of a kind.

  10. RIP Breeder. One thing I hate about social media is their programs seem to always make sure you see the bad news. I felt it appropriate to say my condolences here on the HAMB....where I met this great man. He will be missed.

Was a big fan for over 17 years. Entered 3 of the Rust Revivals. He had a lot of friends & love sent his way. He also had taken a lot of hardship's w/floods & folk leaving life behind. Brought a lot to that NE corner of MO, this site too. We had a short tearful phone conversation years back, after the levy broke. BREEDER auctions helped w/some that burden. See ya Todd. 138182490_10225206590374160_1800158749833940554_n.jpg 138611475_10225206593094228_9147443516260354909_n.jpg 35686910_10214734995721159_1508305897749741568_n.jpg 1926133_10202477982703494_126476392_o.jpg 32209_1383494881136_3174112_n.jpg 138629953_10225206593654242_4125873684305640879_n.jpg 59393125_10217156930788022_3351266662132219904_n.jpg 319371_4458047411626_2106622244_n.jpg

Dan Hay gets the credit for sparking the idea in my foggy head to find a way to help.
His post with the business decal that contained the business phone number got me to thinking that there ought to be some way to just send a blessing along to Shana and the family without any fanfare or long explanation or burden on the family. My family and friends use this thing called Zelle through our bank to send and receive money to each other.
I called the business and asked for Shana and she took my call. I told her I was sorry for her loss and would like to send along a blessing to help if she wouldn't mind. She agreed to set it up on her end through her bank and later texted me to ensure we were setting up Zelle correctly. We tested the procedure and it worked great. She sent me a kind text about having trouble in the past about accepting things but a friend told her to stop blocking other peoples blessings. She said we are a blessing and she is thankful.
That sure makes me happy and I want to thank Jeff Norwell for sharing the news of Breeder's passing and I also want to thank Dan Hay for sharing a post of the decal on his tool box.
If anybody else would like to send along a blessing to Shana and the family, just PM me, or Dan, and we'll share the details... even I got it right on the first try!! I'm sure all y'all can do it, too... it ain't that high tech and it gets to her very quickly... minutes!!
    Merry Christmas to all!
    Al

I met Breeder a couple of times at the Hamb drags. One year he and his wife and another couple had gone canoeing on the Niangua river before coming on to Joplin. When I heard that I mentioned that we lived about 15 miles from Bennett Springs, which is where people usually put in to float. You should have came with us, he said with a big grin.

I'm really sorry to hear about this.
