Must be an engine hiding in the back somewhere. The one in front is just for the accessories.

You'd complain if it had a Chev in it. Nice neat setup.

I love it, thinking outside the box and done rather nicely and uniquely. Two thumbs up....

Remembering the 'quote" from old Henry Ford. I didn't build Fords to put those damn Chevy engines in them. Great installation in that Falcon ranchero. speedshifter Greg White

Well, considering Henry passed well before the SBC came about, I’d bet it’s more internet speak;)

  14. Not everyone is normal ;) I am pretty sure I remember seeing (in a magazine) a Pinto with a Model A banger in it o_O

  15. Here on the H.A.M.B. there was a post that talked about a 1968 Camaro that has a flathead Ford engine under the hood.

  21. There was a chop top round body Ranchero that was always at the Pleasanton swap meets in the 80's with a flathead. It was red. I often wonder what happened to that car.

1 year off , camaro in pic is 67.
Both the Falcon & Camaro , different to see a Flatty, Falcon maybe backed with 5 or 6 speed , I can not see the point except to be different, for both .

I remember that one! Pretty sure it was an article by Gray Baskerville for Hot Rod Magazine... probably late 1970's?

    Photo-shop....
Why does the driver's radiator hose connect to the core support?
Appears to be a 8BA, where's the real radiator hoses?
Engine is slightly out of scale...it's a little too big.

....This is Clarence Everett’s one year old Camaro. He ran H/G. He was a legend in Oregon. Clarence bought the one year old SS396 as a recovered theft. It was missing engine, trans, wheels, tires and most of the interior according to Clarence's family when he bought it. It's rumored on the Yenko Site to be one of the missing 1967 cars, but the car is long scrapped after running at Bonneville
Paul installed the Full Race Flathead. Clarence raced Bonneville and the drags for about 40 years, with all types of cars, Mostly Flathead powered." The basic drive train was factory 4:56 posi, M-21 4 speed and brake system. The weight was stripped down to approximately 2775 pounds. No times or speed given for the car, only that it was a consistent class winner for 2 years running at the Woodburn Drag strip in Woodburn Oregon before Clarence converted it to Bonneville specs.....
