Acres of cars with oil derricks in the back ground Looks like blonds have more fun.... cool pics with a hoodlum motivation to obtain them...get some sleep now
Same. Our family calendar revolves around OU Football. "I had to spend the entire week searching for a new head coach, contributing to online conspiracy theories, and following private jets on flight-aware. It was something that owned every bit of brain power I had… and I had nothing else to give in any other part of my life. Even my own kids were neglected."
I'm sorry man, but he was never yours to begin with. We just loaned him to you for a decade is all. Blame USC.
Now I think I figured out who your new coach is... Congrats. But you know deep inside your soul Bobby and BV are Wildcats....
I guess you are referring to Brent Venables, yeah it's a loss for the Clemson defense but we still have Dabo! HRP
Sure...OU has a great football team.....until they play a REAL football team in the SEC! Always occupying several spots in the top 10 polls. J/K College football is one of the few sports I watch on TV any more. Don't get me started about NASCAR NHRA NFL NBA and who can stay awake to watch NHL! College football is always a good way to start a conversation with most strangers (in the south) 6sally6
There's a guy who sure looks a lot like Tommy Ivo in couple of those pix. Born 1936, would have been 17 in '53. Possible?
Oh brother, that’s mighty big talk. Spoken (with all due respect) like someone who has never experienced Deep South college football. Nothing like OU football? You’re kidding right? Just throwing a grenade in the room to stir shit up, right? Hardly know what to say but I guess us SEC folks can pick up and throw the grenade right back and say exactly the same thing: If you haven’t experienced it then you just don’t know. You don’t know what you don’t know.
Isn't that the game where they try to kill each other, I think it's the one where they use that ball with the pointy ends.
Pretty sure that's Pomona Drags around 52, note The White Bros, with the Spalding Track Roadster, flathead powered.
Not a single sport that interests me. When I hear others talk sports it's like Charlie Brown's teacher, "wonk wonk wo-wo-wonk"
Fun,you say some can't understand ?,ya,for those that did not go too a big enough power house football school,it is harder for them. Sorry they missed out some, but maybe there school sprit was high too! Yes,many thought this song was about there school/I did*. I built an drove my hotrod *too high school also,1960 /62 my school was Miami Sr High School. Our stats hold too all others, the national press core put Miami Sr high Stingarees in games to play the very best from other states. From 1929 to 1965, Miami High won countless state titles and were crowned mythical National Champions in 1942, 1943, 1960 and 1965. Max School sprit!! Home Coming day,is big,an most years I and my hotrod return to Miami Sr High.
To keep this on topic... Peep this paper clipping from my old man's youth in Ada, OK: Now that we are on topic... Let's address this SEC business. The SEC is a fine conference that plays good football - no doubt about that. But... You know what Oklahoma's record all-time is against the SEC? 121-49. No other school has a better winning percentage. How about OU's record against the one consistent power in the SEC, Alabama? 3-2 How about OU's record against Nick Saban as a head coach? 3-1 Oh... and who has the most wins in the history of modern college football? Yeah, that would be OU as well. Point being, the SEC has been riding Alabama's coat tails for years... and they need a rest... Get ready fellas - Oklahoma is coming. You'll learn in time - there's only one Oklahoma.
Brian Bosworth worked on an auto assembly line........on topic enough? @Ryan , pretty impressive stats
Again... To keep this on topic, check out this rad ass clipping of some Lancers doing some marketing: Man... no one should have given me access to the Library of Congress. It's gonna cost tax payers millions in bandwidth costs. Anyway, my dad operated on the Boz like six times? One time in 1986, I came home to school to find him waiting for me in my bedroom. He growled at me and I ran like hell. He lives in Austin now.
