My son and I bought a real neat project for this winter. a 1956 ford F250 stakebed. It has rust around the headlites so I was looking for patch panels but no luck yet. Do any of you know where they are available? Hate to buy new fenders. thanks ans have a happy Holidays.

I would be tempted to look for a set of used fenders. I have never had the issue with the eyebrows rusting out on mine. Look around Oklahoma And Texas.

  3. And someone else will know for sure - I think the F250 has a larger wheel opening than a 1/2 ton - F100.

If you are new to 53-56 F series, you have to check out Mid-Fifty F100 parts. They have everything. But I have not seen any fender patch panels.

Early Ford in Springfield Ohio would be a great start. They stock and can get a lot of '53-5'6 Ford truck parts.

The 53-56 was one of the best all around trucks Ford ever built. I need another one.
