I have a Cadillac 365 engine being prepared with a 1959 Cadillac Tri-power setup. The front large base Rochester 2G hits the original 365 oil filer/fuel pump stand. See picture. Will a later oil filer/fuel pump stand fix this issue? Will use an electric fuel pump. Suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Walt
Maybe a dumb suggestion, but I'm sure you have checked that the the intake is the right way round....they will physically fit both ways...
If you’re using an electric pump just fab up a new filler tube. I made a flange then welded a flared peice of exhaust tube to it to take the breather.
Thanks guys! I'll pass the suggestions on to the engine builder. Could a 1959 Oil filler/fuel pump stand solve the problem?
