Am seeking some HAMB intelligence here . We are building a RHD 32 down under. At present we don’t have the needed RHD 32 pedal assembly. But just noticed that the K member we have is LHD and the spot where the pedal assembly needs to go on the right is smaller than the left. Can anyone cast any insight into this? Maybe once we find the elusive RHD pedal assembly it will become clearer. My highly technical cardboard measuring system . I cut the cardboard for the right and as you can see on the left it is short. Plus two rivets on the right flat and three on the left.
It always seemed to me that old Ford frames had the holes stamped in both sides for steering and brakes. I'd guess that the cradle bracket for the RHD pedals is just smaller, and should fit that frame. I do know that during the production year the 32 K member went through many changes. It kinda makes sense that the pedal brackets might have some design changes as well. Hopefully you can find a bracket of the same time frame your K was made, in case there were differences. Up here in the US I haven't found a pedal bracket that won't fit any of the K members I own, but I'm not saying I've seen them all.
Check out Bello's Customs on youtube. He was working on a RHD 38 Cab, whilst not a 32 it may give you some visual help.
The international HAMB roadster is coming together, one part at a time . thanks a big bunch to @RoadsterDom , HAMB awesomeness, he found a set at a UK swapmeet meet and they will be on their way down under soon. And the k member mystery difference between RHD and LHD solved. The RHD pedal box has just two bolt/ rivets on the horizontal plane and LHD has 3 .
