Hot Rods Anyone know this '27 Ford?

I saw this car in an older thread regarding a '27 body on a Model A frame. Looking through the HAMB at photos this car strikes me. At least for the moment.


Does anyone have information on it? It was previously posted by Rusty O'tool, I contacted him, but he didn't have any information about it.

 

I don’t know anything about it but I’m building this one on a stretched stock T frame.

...it was for sale it seems but the ads are many times an archive and it could have moved on long ago...

It is a glass body but shows well and has many admirable details including the overall period look...I have shared it here before...

Is it a Hambers?...dunno...

Rusty I like what you are doing there. It already looks fast in its mockup stage. Do you have a build thread?

I bought an abandoned project '27 body and Model A frame that is not HAMB friendly. It's slowly on it's way to being faux HAMB friendly.

Maybe a new word in the English language - "Faux-Hamb"

 

I did start a build thread. Rusty has a new project- father son build!

 

Looks like a '26 Chevrolet radiator shell... or maybe Overland?

 

That would come across as being FAKE -HAMB, doesn't sound too tasty! HRP

I get what your saying Inspired but not quite Traditional for whatever reason aka Hokey Ass Message Forum NOT the Traditional Forum...

Fiberglass is one of those in many instances...

My Hotrod is one of those for a few details I don't mention...

Hollywqqd- for some reason I am really into your car. I have a '27 Proform body on a Model A chassis. (In progress) Yours has the look I am going for.
