I had a great opportunity to visit Sweden for 12 days during the Classic Car Week in 2019 it was a trip of a lifetime. Great cars and fantastic friendly people. It is definitely on my return list some day. Here is a picture I took of one of the coolest 32 roadsters over there Kenneth is the owner, I had the pleasure of being the passenger in this car for a day. Great video it placed me right back there again. Sweden has for sure a great car culture second to none I have experienced.
So that is how a conversation sounded when my Grandfather arrived in NYC back in 1907. Thanks for sharing. Bob
I met Jimmy Sweden at a car show in Texas some years ago. I have a 32 cabriolet—he told me had a 32 cabriolet—-he is a friend of Bruce from Bruce’s Rod Shop in Spring. His video is GR8, can’t understand a “dadgum” word, but if most of those cars are his—-my goodness, what a gr8 looking stable of rods. I am jealous! You are a blessed man Jimmy—-CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Car 54, where are you?...in @jimmysweden's buddies garage that's where... Thanks for sharing the good times Jimmy...looks like you had some fun...which Hotrod do you want the Cabi or the Roadster?
Thanks for posting the video. Interesting stuff. Wish I could understand more than a few words here and there but after a margarita or two it made perfect sense.
Hi John, Remember you from Deuce reunion 2016 in Austin (Cedars Creek).. Yellow cabriolet. I have two 32 cabriolet now and one 33 cabriolet. The A coupe on the lift is a friends car and the black A roadsterIn the corner is based on a Volvochassi is my middle sons . Rest of the cars in this garage is mine
I started to watch that first video and I saw a tractor. What the heck? Then I saw you driving one of those damn import cars... “what am I watching?”. But then the rest of the video cleared it all up for me. Watched while snacking on pickled herring.
I think it was Sweden that switched from right hand drive to left hand drive and there biggest problem was obtaining headlights as there's dimmed to the left.
Cool video and shop. Worked for Volvo for many years here in the states. Volvo/GM heavy Truck in manufacturing. Great people and dedicated to doing things the right way.
Haha. The white damn import shit car is a skoda. Belongs to the camera man. I rather die before own one
