a while back 2006 maybe don garlets was with a company or endorsing it making fake injector stacks and blowers anyone remember what the company name was?

  2. No, but I have a strong feeling that you won't get much of a response asking about "fake" anything here, AND that popcorn pops at 355 degrees fahrenheit...

Oh, and if you google "Don Gartlits". you'll get more hits :D

I don’t think Big had anything to do with that poser setup.

    Bargain! Only $1,500.

I wonder what a real Hilborn setup would cost a guy?

A fellow Camsnapper bought a coupe that already had the 'injection' AND glued on quick change. We razzed him pretty bad but he was unfazed. He drove it for a couple years then sold it to another Snapper. The 'injection' unit was removed right away.
If the OP is interested in it, I will ask.

  21. Just weld some pieces of exhaust pipe on a piece of flat metal. Cut a hole in your hood, space the newly constructed "stack injection" a couple of inches on the bottom of the hood, and voila! :D:D:D

Oh, it's as old as time itself. putting Olds covers on SBCs, putting company logos on stuff they never made, stuff like that. The difference here is that stacks and QCs are performance parts.

Remember the 'Flat Heads' that bolted on a SBC? I laughed a little too loud at a display at Pleasanton 'Goodguise'...
Got some 'visual insubordination' from some 'D'Ville Dukes'!
Think I said something about a lineup of street rods on the main street that ALL got citations on their windshields for sporting the 'Foldup license plates'. (engine vacuum sucked them back down...)
Felt like I was at a _______ convention. Lots of angry st. rodders. I used to know most of 'em!:D

  24. And for LS engines too. Someone even posted a pic in the dressed flatheads thread!

Then there's the IDA Automotive built Mercury with a Coyote engine covered up to 'look like' an ARDUN, except about 5 times fatter!

While we're at it, how about the fake Buick aluminum drums with disc brakes inside. From none other than So Cal (so called) speed shop.

Least we forget all of the fake blowers with a 4 barrel and sometimes a two barrel inside with the real throttle cable running through a hole in the back of the housing.
