Up for auction is a freshly rebuilt flathead starter done by our shop. It features a full rebuild, new Accurate bendix drive assembly, new stainless coverband, gloss black powdercoating and full bench test. It's ready to drop in and run in your flatty. Fits '32-'53 flatheads with manual transmission, not V8-60 or Lincoln big flattys.

This particular core ended up at our shop from a fellow HAMB member, Pickle. He send it in to be rebuilt, but it turned out he needed a different starter all together. He said for us to keep it and do something good with this starter, so here we are.

Auction ends in two weeks, August 21st. Winner of course gets free shipping in the lower 48, or we'll chip in that amount to an out of country buyer. Good luck and happy bidding!

We just got back from the races at Bonneville! Just one week left on this auction so lets see some more bids! I forgot to mention that this starter carries our standard 1 year warranty -- got a few questions on that over the weekend.

Flat-O says you can use a stock starter with their adapter, but I wouldn't recommend it. I really like adapter they make and have one myself, but I've seen a lot of headaches using the stock starter. We can build you a custom starter with a longer armature that will do the job and look a lot nice than a modern gear reduction unit. Thanks for the question!

Just a few days left! Better hurry up and get your bids in. This starter sells for $240, so someone might just get a hell of a steal on this one!

Looks like you're the winner. I'll ship it out as soon as I get confirmation from Ryan that you paid him. :)
