Event Coverage Last Carlisle event is Saturday November 6

That’s right. Saturday November 6, 2021. It’s a swap meet for race car parts, but it ends up being a mix of race car and old car stuff. One day only. Fills up about half of the infield area. Free parking on the grounds, free admission. Don’t drive 3 hours to see it, but it looks like a crisp sunny day- so check it out if you’re close. Then come back in January for “Winter Carlisle “ at the Expo Center.

They held it on a Wednesday too. No wonder I missed it.

I went, got a few things. But it was basically all dirt track car stuff, definitely a lot there.

 

Nice day. Sunny and just about freezing. Loads of race car stuff from fast go-karts to midgets- kind of popular here in south central PA. Not as much old car stuff as last year. Apparently the real action takes place Friday night, with sales by flashlight. I overheard one vendor complain that the Saturday crowd is just tire kickers. Now we have to endure the snow months. Yuck.
