Does Anybody know if rockers off a early Cadillac will work on a 324 Olds. Trying to find out if a pair of isky adjustable rockers that where on a pair of 1958 365 cylinder heads on a 50 331 engine will fit my 54 324 Olds heads.

kadillackid, bchctybob and Torkwrench like this.
  2. Never heard of this being mentioned, only the Stude rockers are mentioned as an oem swap for Cads, never the Olds.

  3. The Cadillac rocker shaft is bigger in diameter than the Olds....could possibly be bushed to size maybe...o_O

bchctybob and Barrelnose pickup like this.
  4. The 324 should have the large stands with 1.8 ratio rocker arms. I do not believe the Caddy's even bushed would work. If you look thru the Olds rocker stand bolt hole you should be able to see a small part of the rocker shaft passing thru it. Early engines had 1.5 with stands that do not share this uniqueness.
Those Stude pieces will work on a Cad but it is known that they will not fit an Olds adding more fodder to the subject.
