Shit I’d pay 100 if you let me ride the trike and mow my own lawn !!:D

Mark it looks like you are using an AMF trike from about 64 on up. Those seats were Unupholstered. The original trike you posted was a Murray. Those were much nicer chrome front rack, padded and upholstered seats and don’t forget the streamers from the ends of the handle bars. You may want to go to a Peerless open differential type axle. They are about $100.00 if you can find one and will make a world of difference in your ability to turn.
Just trying to help you out. I love your lawnmower still.

Concours judges would not be Impressed. Downholstered seats only, please.

I wasn't really cloning that trike as much as I am building one with the same flavor. I never realized that some tricycles came from the factory with metalflake rolled and pleated upholstery. pretty cool. my rear wheels are on bearings to the axle so it steers really good

You Are A Nut ( seconding Lloyd’s opinion)! I know the seat cover will look Great, but it will be a shame to hide that striping.

You've probably heard the expression "He that dies with the most toys wins". I think we have a winner!

  25. 20211103_181556.jpg Make tricycle seat covers they said..... it'll be fun they said..... 3rd times a charm. Used 1/4" foam this time. With the shape of the seat, there's no way around gluing it on man. I'm gonna send you 2 covers and a tricycle seat, that way you don't have to mess up the one that's already on it with glue. You'll have to sandblast and paint this one. She threw a 3rd cover in the trash can, I heard her speaking in tongues while she was pitching it :D you know this, but don't be afraid to heat that flake vinyl when you are working with it ;)

  26. Very inspiring, too cool.

Now you have to build something for your copper handle grips...

Bravo and hats off to @Moriarity and @Lloyd's paint & glass !
I am deeply impressed at the high level of quality in the construction of the trike, and the imaginative little touches seen everywhere on the trike.
You guys rock big time !

First class show piece. Nice you kept it in the HAMB family.
I'm glad I sent you that photo, you ran with it and did a super job.
