    UPDATE!
Well obviously I lost interest and this ones been sitting in the back corner of my garage for the past 4 years being used as a junk shelf and an engine stand. I finally dragged it out a couple weeks ago and tack welded some axles under it so I could dump it outside because I need the space...then I got inspired and figured I should just finish getting some of the metalwork roughed in and then find it a new home instead of letting it rot in my backyard for eternity. I finished building the back of the body and got it all welded together, then did a bunch of other random stuff including a 3" chop last week. There's a few more things left to finish up in the next couple days then I'm going to be finding this one a new home, now I kind of hate to see it go because I've been enjoying working on it, but realistically I need the space and cash right now haha, plus it deserves better than to collect dust in my garage or rot outside.

From this observer's standpoint you're moving this project onward will make another very Happy as you did bring much needed repairs and mods that will highly benefit the resurrection...

I hope you remain Hamb bound with another period correct project as your work is inspiring to say the least...any thoughts about what that might be after takin care of business @66gmc?

Lots of potential candidates out there in Canada's wonderful slowrust zones...maybe things aren't as plentiful as Stogy thinks...but at least if somethings hiding it won't be the rust dust it'd be here in Ontariario...

Are these '36(?) sedans the same car? If they are, I see what you've been busy with for the last 4 years.

Far better than a lot of car stuff on TV!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for taking the time to shoot the video. I judge all 5Window chops by the look of the quarter windows. you got that chop perfect. Good luck with all your future projects.

I've got a 36 Chevy Pickup and a Model T project, both are much easier projects, which is good because I rarely get time to work on my own stuff anymore!

All our projects out west have been getting bought up by you Ontario folks lately, which is great because no one around here wants them and the alternative is the crusher!

Thanks, I ended up taking 1.5" out of the back window just so it would line up with the roof contours better, but I agree. I'd rather do a little more welding than end up with the squashed mail slot look.

haha no I cheated and bought another 35 that was already done, still have the other 35 and have some ambitious plans for it, but that's a looong way off! Most of my time gets spent working on other peoples cars!

  25. Nice work, someone will get a great start to a hot rod! I'm glad you're okay with the transfer of early iron to Ontario, we need all the help we can get. I have to do rust repairs on my 06.

Wow: Very nice metalwork. Anymore pics of the body straightening process? Since I'm not a bodyman, I can use all the visuals I can get. Esp when things turn out that nice. Oh, btw; the truncated rear of the chev reminds me of the rear of the JADO Spl, once the rear frame parts are gone.

Hahaa. For some reason this made me chuckle. Nice job. I like the look.
