  2. Those new Pro Trac tires in the back sure do justice in bringing back the correct LOOK.

    Hi Nads
Congrats on these amazing projects. Can I ask you or other posters for help or tips to point me in a direction better than my aimless one I’m at now - please? :>)

I have a 1963 international c100 and had a guy tried to work on the steering box to put a power steering in. He took it apart and left. Ugh. are you going to be in Los Angeles sometime to please see it and give me some advice by chance?
Or are there folks around LA zip 90018 who may be able to give my truck a look please?
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post a call for help
    Thanks

I just got a big write up in Classic Motorsports, it’s a huge honor. It’s the latest issue, November 2021. I’ve also put up a picture of the show sign that Luke Scanlon painted for me last week. He did the lettering and striping on Leaping Lizard too. He’s an incredibly talented person that I’m proud to call my friend. I painted the molding lines of the Firestone tires hold just like they have nice were. Sadly there’s no inner molding line otherwise I would have painted that too. 3BB66ED2-AE71-40A1-89A2-4FB9BE661E40.jpeg . 513D9E61-B04A-44CD-93B9-96581455029C.jpeg 66F75827-3E9A-4AA0-A143-73E2E5690155.jpeg

    Hi Nads,

Congratulations on becoming the owner of Shotgun.
Swerve is a mate of mine and I used to live near him, in Farnborough. When he first got the car, he got it running pretty quickly. A road trip was called for and the two of us took a test trip around the block a few times, checking ourselves out in local shop windows, as you do. We were laughing so hard it really hurt. The two of us are not exactly what you could call thin and we were a tight fit to put it mildly.
The trip was going great, right up until we ran out of gas. We had to take turns pushing or steering for about a mile or so. It might look a light car, but it wasn't that day. We pushed it to our local Speed Shop, North American Moto Co, also in Farnborough where the sight of the two of us gasping for breath, pushing the car onto the forecourt caused mayhem at the garage. Happy days indeed.
It's great to see it in now the hands of someone who is going to both preserve the car and use it.

Best wishes from the Old World,

    Tony.

Cheers Tony. That's a great story. Similarly during the first drive over here taken by my son Miles, because I had forgotten my driver's license, the brakes locked up just a mile or so from where I was with the trailer. Swerve had told me this could happen, new flexible hoses have fixed the problem. Old cars are fun!!!!

You have no idea how thrilled I am that Dave sold Shotgun to me. I promise I'll take great care of it and if any of you gents are ever in Orlando feel free to drop in, the fridge is always stocked with libations.

Love the gold stripe detail on the tires. That's an area that a lot of "preserved" cars lose with modern tires replacing whatever was on there in-period, yours look just right.

One day, the ones on there are terrible. I'd feel bad selling them to anyone.
