  3. I am so with you Dean on this. Cowl lights and big headlights too. Geez I detest them on hotrods

The bumper is fine. As I recall Dean, your roadster pickup had a front bumper and it looked really good !

  6. Nope, never had a bumper. It's not that the car has a bumper, it's that it's one of those extruded aluminum things that just cheapens the look.

    Briz bumper.
In all the years since Brislawn introduced them, in my opinion, I don't recall that they improved the look of very many cars.

It took me about a month after it was delivered, but today I drove it further than the previous once around the block so I guess I should add it to the thread even though the too long:eek: Brookville bed is still in the garage!;):D:D
Oh, it does have a windshield!:) Just off for body work.;) I'm working on changing the wheels and tires to something I like better.;):) No, I ain't gonna use the set of Boyds!! Anybody need some bling?!:D:D
Maybe these babies?:D Such a deal...
401 Buick has roller rockers and other goodies as well as a switch pitch turbo 400 transmission and the 9" rear.

I've gotta say many of those posted are beautiful and provide plenty of inspiration; which we all need! Thanks.

    Cool Hot Rod!
This is an old hot rod...notice that the body is mounted back some to give room for the Cadillac engine w/o butchering the firewall and giving up foot room inside the cab. Just need a longer hood to fill the gap, and the front of the box shortened! Fenders , splash aprons and running boards remain unchanged.

Every time Dave Diaz's pickup shows up here it makes me smile. It is one of the nicest roadster pickups ever. I used to see it a lot when I was young.

I sure like how the body setback matched the frame & body lines.

That one does not have windows to my knowledge. Here is pic before it was painted green. This was a Kalamazoo a few years ago.

    Oops!!
My bad. Sorry. I saw the reveal behind the door that looks like the Last Refuge cabs which have roll up windows but... I don't guess you have to use them. Maybe it is not a Last Refuge cab but sure looks others I've seen as well as mine.

This is mine and it does have roll up windows... I should have known better than to "assume!":D:D
