There was a fella years ago that ran a pair of Linkert (Harley) carbs on his flathead T speedster. Not sure if there was any advantage as the Linkert is just about as primitive as any other T carb!;) I don’t remember exactly, but he would have had to run some sort of short runner tube to adapt bolt patterns and get past the header

The price of good working big bronze Linkerts these days you might as well go find the Winfields or Rileys .... Millers even! !

Why run a stock Linkert Harley carb on your car, when you can run an accessory Winfield Harley carb on your car...?!;)

Thanks Kevin, I think I can stretch my budget to $70 for the duals with elbows for my Banger, do you have a timeline on delivery ?
Interesting that Winfield differentiates between "with manifolds" for Bangers with a single carb, and a pair of racing carbs "with Elbows". That suggests to me that he did not use a balance tube on racing duals!

The Linkerts I use are even more rare ( for my Indians) , I have enough but no spares, and I won't be getting any more bikes. Last Linkert, I saw for sale here was over $2k. ...I passed !

    Crank Sources
Located an A crank .040-.030 fresh grind with press on weights and a .030-.030 light use balanced with weld on weights. Decided to use the latter!
    Thank You All!

Works great! I’m getting too old for ramps and creepers for oil changes, or jack stands and floor jacks for tire rotations. It lifts about 4’ but I can only get about 3’ due to the low ceiling. I wheel around under the cars on a stool with casters. Considered a two post asymmetric lift but I wouldn’t have been able to use it to full potential.
