A kid who went to high school with me, chopped a 4 door, 1955 Olds., just for practice. The 4 door was his parts car for the 2 door sedan that he was building. He did all of the welding in gas and cut the windshield and side glass himself, he replace the back window with something else. It came out pretty close to the one in the picture. He never put an engine or drivetrain in it and left it sitting in the back of his yard. After all of that, he never did chop the two door sedan. His Father sold the 4 door body when he went into the service.

 

On my list of favorite kustoms. Such a classy build...
