Those are some beauties...when plastic was still absent I suspect...that Roadster with the Dust wafting over the tires is really neat...Bill was the Man to beat...

The only car that could beat him was the Ala Kart

I found these 60’s wire wheel hubcaps still in the box
And putted them on the roadster
Until I get some real wire wheels

I saw a picture on another thread and came here to check out your adventure. I saw the car in Oakland when it was pink with wire spokes. I remember the feeling of disappointment. I had either seen it before or color pictures, I can't remember, when it was Turquoise with the Olds flippers. I like the original dash better too. You really had me going a few pages back with the solid wheels and caps. But it's your car and you are doing good work on a real piece of hot rod history. The entire collection is very cool with so much documentation. It us really great to see it in all the photos sitting with so many of it's notable peers. It is way better than when you got it. Thanks for sharing!

Bass could do a good job in recreating the Tommy the Greek pin striping on a new turquoise wheel cover.

I like both looks, you truly have many options...I agree with Sixball that the Flipper caps are stunners...I'll bet you'll try and replicate that Spinner/Knockoff on the final wire you choose...

I don't remember. It was local so I may have seen it at another show or out and about. I just remember the feeling of seeing it pink.

I did a series of Colorized Inspirations for Austinrod and shared one or more of them in the Homogenized Thread and I believe this Thread as well...

Seeing that advertisement from "SANGER BOATS " really brought back some memories of me growing up in the SJV ( San Joaquin Valley ) They were high quality back then.
