I did take about 200 pics this past weekend. Also been to about 5 car shows in the last 3 months.
I take them all for the Gram. Haha

Mickey hope you had fun at Santa Maria. I met the owner of that Merc at CCR in 2019 and mentioned that I had a Hudson with Merc tail lights and he had a Merc with Hudson tail lights. Because the actual Hudson tail light surrounds are offset to suit the shape of the rear of a Hudson he had a special set made to fit the contours of the Merc. Very expensive I believe. So I went home to Australia and as you have probably seen before I found a set of original NOS 48 Hudson lights and scrapped the Merc ones
Have watched all of Custom Mikes videos of Santa Maria 2021 and lots of memories came back from when I did it in 2018.

 

I'm sorry, those headlights look like poo....

That is the kool thing about kustoms. I think they are Bad Ass, Kool they picked kool over function. It wouldn't be fun driving at night in the middle of Kansas.

Chopped more door.

 

Paul's cars always seem to have an over the top cartoony look to them. I think those lights kind of add to that vibe. They look like something that would be on a car in a Dick Tracy Comic. In fact the whole car kind of does with the super hard chop.

 

I'm a fan of may different styles, Cartoony and Dick Tracy Comics are purrfect descriptions. How kool would it be to be cruising the streets at dusk. Pure evil, the car puts a smile on my face.
