When you take it to the car wash and take pictures of it going through the Grindo-O-Matic Brush Washer then I'll know it's driven and not just trailered to locations for photo shoots.

    Bwahha Ha HA
    I crack myself up.
    Kidding of course.

I can do some cooking in my shop. the kitchen in the house is still NOS going on 18 years

  8.

    Can I ask why ?
Is just because you can ?
Because the cupboards are full of spark plug wires? :p
Or your just a typical single guy ?

Scotty B’s gotta love ya !!

When I was single , kinda prided myself on being a good cook and eating well.
But I lived in a one bedroom apartment

Not a house full of killer customs and treasures !!!!

do you drive Miss elegance as much as the astorian?

never wanted to mess up the kitchen for just one guy, now it is like a contest not to use it. I eat at home a lot only at scotty's twice a week. The Astorian gets used a lot more than Miss Elegance

  10. I get that .

my aunt n uncle have a basement kitchen they got custom built in the late 70’s early 80’s it’s steel cupboards done in a light pink with these starburst gold knobs and a pink granite counter n back splash with all gold appliances .

when we where kids growing up we used to call it the barf room or horror movie kitchen.

It’s hardly ever been used so it’s still in mint shape , complete with the floral print plates and bowls and dark brown glasses and gold rimmed wine glasses.

now it’s old 70’s early 80’s and in mint shape it’s one of my favourite rooms, when I visit I alway get my uncle to have a beer with me in there.

Truthfully, at first I thought @Moriarity was sort of bizarre but as I have read his writings and seen his museum pieces I must admit that I really sort of envy him. His dedication to the HAMB seems to be genuine. I can't wait to be deleted again. :)

Saw this real early pic on the Kustomrama site and I never knew that it once had white headlight covers.

I had some milk white trans acrylic so I figured I would make some. Here’s the first one done

I kinda like the headlight covers, most I've seen have a bullet in the center to function as a nut to remove them, how are/were these attached? And do the headlights function behind them, or was this a daytime-only type show car thing?

good question, when Rodney Rice put the smoked covers on it in the eighties he siliconed them in. I put these on with velcro dots to the headlights. Light kinda comes thru em but I bet it isn't enough to drive at night with

  17. Some 'show' mods you see just weren't practical for a car that's actually driven...

In my opinion (which doesn't hold much water), I think the covers enhance the looks and harkens back to the origin of the car. I think that they will still be all right to drive at DUSK but to reduced for DARK.

It was dark this morning when I went for coffee. The headlights are not really bright enough for nighttime driving. 968690D1-41EE-4CAA-B844-BD46DB9C944A.jpeg 63C890E7-69E9-437B-9C40-12CAF2969BE9.png

  25. Ah, after scrolling through posts I see now you have answered the question I asked about the headlights in the other thread where you posted a 'coffee' pic.

  27. Oh.
That would scare me. Too many people/animals/bicycle/electric scooter riders that could potentially appear in front of me at the last split second.
