So many kool T-birds pictured but I just can't handle the wire wheels.
    Once again, just my opinion.

Those wires were stock on the Sport Roadster. The Sport Roadster did not have skirts because the wires stuck out a touch too far. The rear wheel openings on the Sport Roadsters were not even punched out for the skirt pins. The Bird skirts had four pins that kept the skirts in place in addition to the clamp.

The unpleasant image is already scorched into my memory.

"Unpleasant image". Once again, just my opinion.

I've had this Thunderbird for the last 25 years. My wife love going for drives in it. I think I've rebuilt everything except the automatic transmission. The only non-stock parts are suspension related. It drives quite well. 57 Home 04.jpg

My buddy Bob Sloan built a lot of custom cars. He died 9 years ago and I think he had about 25 or so cars. Some were parts or projects not quite started. He did like T-Birds, I've attached two of them, a finished 60 Bird and a 64 that only lacks a few items to be finished. Both have been garaged since his death. Sloan10.jpg Sloan20.jpg

Didn't know if we were posting up just our cars or ones we like, but the white one is my prior T-bird, a '63 that enjoyed telephone poles too much.
The gray one is it's replacement, a very nice 61 that the built motor ended up in.

Thanks for making this thread, @rustydusty , nice to see someone else with a Bullet Bird on here.... Now if I could just sort out the small misfire on the left hand bank then i'd have her on the road!
