It’s starting to fell a lot like The Price Is Right in here!
Based on the way I felt about that car the 1 time I have seen it, I would guess $100 million. But in a world of rat rods and all kinds of other bullshit, I say $613,000.

I’d think the few parties that were trying to buy the car will be there to bid on it or have someone there for them. That should keep the price higher than the 150-200k estimates.
But I have no clue on an estimate.

  13. My low bid was just based on auctions recently. If it doesn't go low like I guessed it will go crazy instead. Based on Demographics this is probably the peak, those that grew up admiring it are fading away.

    . . . you can't buy gas for it.

Now granted it needed a full resto.

I think the Herohata merc will sell for around there maybe a bit more.

might get close to a million , but not over.

$590,000, gotta go over half a million really due to being so famous and it’s history, but all depends if anyone has got any spare cash the way the world is going and fingers crossed the new owner will show it rather than just being tucked away in a multi million dollar collection and never seen again

I'm with K13 on this one.
It was for sale prior to this and didn't sell. So i think that most of these numbers aren't going to fly.
If the Golden Sahara II sold for $450,000 (Yes it needed a cosmetic restoration) I think that what ever the number is for the Merc, it won't be reached. Unless the reserve is pulled????
The hard part is what do we really have to compare it too? Other then the Golden Sahara sale. Not much.
I would think the family expects to get some where near the million dollar mark. I don't see it happening. Maybe a few years ago when things were different.
Customs are like Jazz Music. Not everyone gets it.LOL
    JMHO
    Good luck to all bidders.
In keeping with the theme of this thread. I'll go $ 850,000.

That's a very good point...I doubt it will sell at all.:(
Maybe we should just be guessing the high bid regardless whether it sells or not.

yup, we are guessing the "hammer price" according to the first post. I don't think it matters if it sells for what we are doing here
