After long thought and consideration, I've decided to sell this beauty. Life and priorities change and we have to adapt. If you've enjoyed the process of this build and are interested, please feel free to check her out on the Cars for sale section or reach out to me with any questions or serious inquiries at 408-375-5618.

seems that this happens a lot sad to see you have to give it up.I would think having the glass for it already cut would help sell it as I would be worried about the task of finding a shop to handle the task.yes I know it can be done the question I have is by whom and what cost.

Fortunately she's still alive and well in my hands. For the time being she's getting some work done and off the market.

I lost steam, interest, waited on some people to “help” (help which still hasn’t came) & stepped away from my car for a couple years, in the process got a few offers, but still in my possession. I attended Ventura Nationals a couple weeks ago and saw some chopped 56 Mercuries which have a similar windshield opening and saw some temporary windshield options they use, this inspired the hell out me and got my gears going and made me realize if you want something done, many times you’ll just have to get it done yourself. As you know, these wrap around windshield cars are a big challenge for anyone who has any knowledge of cutting glass and this car has been no exception. I was able to fabricate a temporary windshield from an idea I got at the show, got all my exterior trim cut, fitted and mounted, as well as some of the interior trim installed and let's say "SUNSATION" IS BACK IN TOWN! She's actually attracted several more offers and there are a couple I'm considering, but for the time being she's still mine. Until further notice, stay tuned for more to come...

This build is wild, it was wild before and wild now...

The glass work looks awesome and certainly will make going places more inspiring...goggles and Customs just aren't commonly associated...get out and enjoy it...you have some catching up to do...

I sure as heck understand roadblocks though...great milestone @El Capo

Road blocks in fact can become obstacles that can take some time to be removed; one thing I can say, humbly, about myself is I DO NOT GIVE UP! I will push and fail over and over, because I know a solution is out there somewhere and I will find it. Yes, I did have that feeling of throwing the towel, however when I had moments of selling her it was out of necesity of Life circumstances, not giving up. At this point in the build, I feel like I was reminded of how blessed I am and how unbreakable a person’s spirit can be. I will admit, I have a Love/hate relationship with “Sunsation” but, I certainly enjoy the lessons in the challenges she brings on. Stay tuned to see what comes next for her…

Radical Cool...great shots El Capo and the Backdrop really suits the Beauty of the Beast...these were literally Factory Customs...

You've crested the Mountain...now it's time to ride the wave...can't wait to see further greatness come into its own...thanks for sharing the journey of creating a Custom...you know that saying...if it was easy everyone would be doing it...as John Lee Williamson says Art...

I have to say that getting that jolt of inspiration at Ventura Nationals and going the route I’ve taken, has been a lot of fun. I’ve enjoyed this car, a lot more, the last few weeks than I have the last couple years. Few things coming up and getting her long road ready for a trek to SoCal sometime soon. Stay tuned. Until then, Keep it Kustom & Stay Blessed… Oh yeah, one other thing. Need your help: anyone know how to or can guide me
on making a speedometer cable extension? Basically need a longer speedo cable and canmt find the size I need. Thanks

What’s good citizens of Kustomsville! So the progress continues, as this beauty is still in the eternal road to completion. Haven’t been on here in a while so I figured why not give an update on “Sunsation”. For now the progress is the new G78-15 x 3 1/4” whitewall Coker tire treatment, newly refreshed shoes in Chrysler “stone white” and baby moons to make it all tie together for a little contrast. Please share your comments on what you think of the new look… Stay Humble and keep it Kustom… 10C5334A-BE1D-42C2-9440-59977E0BC2AE.jpeg

I think it looks awesome. This car is aggressive AF with the stance and chop, but when it comes down to it, is still calling for a classy, finished look. This is like a D'Agostino or Zocchi car that is getting driven part done. All the elements are there. And it's actually a cool juxtaposition of softness with color and style, and aggressiveness with stance and chop. I'd rock the shit out of the car

edit: My 3 year old daughter just leaned over as I typed that and was like, "I like that car and that color". Kids don't lie. If it sucked she'd say so

  24. I like the wheel color! And, very kool car!

That is one beautiful Custom @El Capo...Quality takes time and every mod and addition made just pushes this Rolling Art closer to what I'm sure is hitting the notes you were envisioning...class!!!

    Beautiful car .
Check out Speedometer repair in the Venders section. He can make new speedometer cables and housings stock or custom lengths.
He is making a tack and speedometer cables and housings for me .

  29. The car is definitely kool! I'm digging the new wheel and tire combo but not a fan of the pink. The original colors of the car on page 1 showed the car off better in my opinion and lined up better with the cars name. Either way, I dig it and will continue to follow along. Keep up the great work.
