Technical Radiator ID Help.

    A friend has a brass radiator that he has no idea what it came out of. Had it for years. The inlet and outlet appear to be cast. For some reason, he suspects Pontiac. I told him a would check for him.

    see in your last picture, how there are some numbers on the left that are cut off by the edge of the picture? If you get a big clear picture of them, you might get the info you need to help identify the radiator.

    It's a Chevrolet, & there's a 2 digit number next to the part number which will be the year. The tall filler goes into the top of the radiator support '37 - '38

    Here are the numbers left of the Harrison plate. The top #s are hard to read, but the owner thinks they 37 1.

    the month was a letter, I would be September, maybe for a 38?

    Anyways, the Chevy parts book says that number fits 38 Chevy 1/2 through 1 ton trucks.
