Hot Rods Hard brake pedal

    Have had a hard brake pedal ever since I acquired this 48 pickup. After looking at how the linkage was done it seems to me that the builder lost the mechanical advantage of the pedal by setting it up this way. Easy to fix but just need to be shure I am not barking up the wrong tree.

  2. Yeah, looks like the ratio is all screwed up from that high pivot location on that "pivot arm/bellcrank dealio"

    If you flipped that bell crank around with the pivot above the master cylinder, it would be fine if it gives you enough stroke. I'm guessing that room for the pivot prevents that.

    Thanks ,that’s what it seemed to me. Well up on the lift to get fixed.just put in a new motor and trans and thought I was done- oh well 7813B4DD-AABE-401C-B57A-BBDB850486DB.jpeg
