Technical Unknown piston ID

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 31Vicky with a hemi, Oct 18, 2021.

  1. I got a set of 6 pistons and pins.
Brand new in a Jahns box, packed in January 1955 news paper. kinda neat
I can’t make out any numbers on the box.

    3.098 OD
    0.750 pins x 2.75
    1.575 compression height
Smooth skirts and a plain smooth flat top
I know there’s books that list this info by sizes but I don’t have them.

I see a lot of Citroen piston at that size (bore) but they are wrong by appearance.

I found a post by @1933_willys_77 that had posted catalog images from Jahn's of time period your asking about. Let's see if he'll have something more on this?

Here's what he posted a little over a year ago.

Still got these? Jahns usually cast a number on the inside of the piston.
