Thanks Van, yeah I Used the Ole Hotrod Rear Tire and Rim and trim and fit your Caps to it...Those are the Firestone Champions 600 x 16s...this is a big car so I'm thinking it would eat a big Tire...

The Caddie I added a center cap as without just didn't feel right...and the WWs seem to work over BWs...

The Bottom pic here shows the Body Drop...which is part of the overall feel which is actually real inspiring...

40 Mercs are best as customs, just my opinion but they do not make good hot rods. Tail dragger, mild dechroming, wide whites, spinner hubcaps

Thanks Van, I applaud all the inspirations and historical visual images shared...so many wheel cap and tire options...and the chrome reverse is another universal option...jeez it's nearly a full time job keeping up with suggestions and then there's the ww/bw debate...

I went with a slight nose down attitude to give a bit of a hybridized mix between Hotrod/Custom without being one or the other...

I had fun with rim disposal eh!!!...Catapult them out to pasture...x4...:D

Could just get a set of real moon disks and stick them on with the screws and be done with it.

Thanks. Now at least those of us who didn't get to see the removed photo know which of the really rather wide variety of dodgy wheels made in the '90s the OP is talking about.

  20. Educate me. I get confused. One of these wheels i just seen in another thread, on a red car. Is it a traditional wheel? How about the torque thrust? I love to play a game, when I'm at a car event drinking cold beer, we make a bet, who can guess the closest to how many cars have these same polished torque thrust wheels on them. My wife won at bowling green this year, it was close to 600. And how about the weld rodlite? I see them a lot. Are any of them traditional? 20211017_214840.jpg 20211017_215131.jpg 20211017_215207.jpg

Man, I hate those damned torque thrust 2’s. They are street rod wheels. They were kinda supposed to look like the old D spoke wheels but don’t. Traditional? Not in my world .....

Truly a Unique Look for the Ford Brand and it has a Sweetspot well suited for Custom Cruise Division...but he could put a Hemi in it and make a Dodgercury...:p

There are many Choices, they're all Shiny or brushed and stamped and full of artistic freedom and really compliment a Hotrod or Custom...I'm not surprised those are Stude they were outward looking in a space age way...

...These are what I call a Complete Wheel and Tire package to both Hotrods and Custom...

My Rims are a shade of Maroon

    These are Fronts...500x16...I will verify

...I used my rear Tire/Rim/Trim on Vans Merc both front and rears scaled to fit his existing Rolling stock...Its a Big Car so it may take a different size ratio...
