Technical Knock off 97’s..

Just seen this posted by Stromberg (Clive) on Insta, watch out for fakes..

 

Those are the ones made by Speedway. Any hotrodder worth his salt should know the difference.

Actually, copies of anything are fakes. So are these fakes an inferior copy of an original fake?

 

The $156 price is a little less than half the price of the Speedway carbs. Are these stolen? A knock off of a knock off? There's more here than meets the eye. However, this post does open the door for the Speedway haters!

 

Not that they need it, but as an endorsement to Clive- I bought 4 new Genuine Strombergs. Bolted them to my 4x2 intake, hooked up the linkage and within 15 minute had them tuned and driving like a bat outta hell. Blew. My. Mind.

Don't fall for knockoff garbage.
