I wouldn't be surprised to find out a number of the membership have met this accomplished man and even had Louvers punched by him among other services...Glenn Volz, striking a familiar stance in Salute to a former period of Hotrod greatness in his life...

I'm hopeful he is still well, the newer image beside the press was 2015...he had a fire at his shop not so long ago as well but it was contained I believe...

I've always liked his Desoto nosed Deuce shared above...

His life around Go Fast has been documented by Hamber @pgan with the images above shared in that article...

Lets just say that if a hood ever graced SMVicky it would have louvers and blisters...You could even louver lexan or plexi as your're into the wild 60s...

Do you have a hood side panel in mind Dave? The Motor is to nice to hide...Monstrously Sexy Vicky it is. I often think of one on the Ole Hotrod...it would be Aluminum giving an Aviation Wartime feel...

Tinted see through side panels with Louvers punched...Gotta see the engine...Can you punch louvers in plexi...what did they use in the early 60s?

This or these clubs were local to my region, in the 70s, 80s not to far from Toronto and had the period 50's 60s Hotrod /Custom thing well honed for the time...Some are still active members here...

There's a definitely a louvered hood top in Miss Vicky's future, just need to get with @MP&C one weekend to make it. We've also talked about hood sides with blisters and full length stock style louvers done on the Pullmax surrounding the blisters.

It's funny, a few years back I tried to talk @Plowboy into trading me his 32 Vick for my car. He kept telling me I really didn't want his car 'cause it was so rough. He was wrong.
