Just found some ohotos posted on the Facebook page for Australian Hot Rod History. As late as the 70's there was vintage gold still around.
Not the 70s but mid eighties. Picked the 34 Chev phaeton up just out of Brisbane and then sold it to buy the Ford roadster from just out of Ipswich Queensland. Genuine barn find 33 Standard Model B, still got it. Lots of good stuff around
Their were also true skirted front fenders for '32 were later in the year (I think)and Export. They had them in the UK & NZ also
Not here, and the skirts in the pic are not factory, someone added them. You can even see the rivets/bolt heads. And yes, I am familiar with the European ones you are talking about. There are not them
