From the photos online of trog you’d think he was the only car there! Haha worthy of the attention for sure :)

Such an awesome car! Saw it in person at TROG and wow! It's so rad! So cool to see it back in it's former glory and getting driven like it should be!

What a great event ! Best we can figure this is the first time driving and back in competition in 58 years . Considering it drove for the first time right before we loaded it on the trailer and made over 20 passes down the sand the team and I could not be more pleased .

    The Omaha is back!!!

Funny at first I thought it was an Ad and was waiting for the Skip...:D...AND then the Hotrod slinks into the picture like a Rockstar...it's quite the Juxtapoz/Timewarp for the Ole Drag Coupe....The Videographer is quite polished in their craft...

I really like the multiple angles between the details, grill, rad, cowl all fit to make it happen...yeah it's still full of the spirit of go fast...

Need to figure the mirror situation out. Wait to get the halo portion of the cage installed before I head mount the center rear view . May get a back up camera wired to be on all the time ….

Not a bad idea. My buddy put one of those aftermarket truck mirrors that go all the way across the top of his windshield in because he had it. We all laughed but he said he could see so I guess it works lol

I was going to ask about the windshield as in how and what was there as this pic highlights a row of holes that probably held a Plexi/Lexan one in there...the posts seem pretty trimmed free of a sizable portion of the inner post as well...

    20211011_040953.jpg

...I did some back snooping and found this...can you say Purpose Built...just a rectangular piece...oh yeah

I suppose you could cut some flat safety glass or lexan and use a applicable seal and fit one in...but keeping in mind the authenticity you may screw on something similar but with a more purpose but finessed detail...

    What's your plans @tdog?

I fully understand there's alot to deal with prior to this part of the adventure but the recent pics and vids made me curious...

Stogy, yes it appears they ran lexan from 53 when it was chopped till 64/65 when it was last raced . I have the windshield frame chopped. To get it mounted on hinges I need to get the cage completed. I am planning on hinging it off the Halo bar . Could have used the windshield in Wildwood . Sand was flying in like crazy. !!!! Lol
