The last time I talked to Chip was in 2018. Can’t believe it’s been that long. He said he was having trouble logging in on the HAMB from his old computer. Said he was still doing great in Arizona and punching Louvers. Said he’s on FB with his Hot Rod company. I don’t do FB so I don’t know anything about that.
I was going to send him a hood for a future project. Just wanted to make sure he was still punching louvers.
I also checked in with him some time ago, via facebook, and he told me the same thing, he couldn't get logged in here. I'm not on facebook as much these days, but I see posts from him quite often. He keeps busy, that's for sure.

Just do FB with a modified version of your name or nickname and and email account besides your normal email account that you get from somewhere just to sign up. My cousin drops three letters off the back of his (our) last name for his FB account. People that know him know who it is but it gives him a little bit of privacy.
Yeah, Chip is always active on FB. When his Tbucket thread got polluted with crap he stopped posting.
Call him, Chris. Chip is a fun guy to talk with and next time I find myself out in the Phoenix area, I'm sure I will wind up over at his shop.
I will when I get back home. I am having Rootlieb make me a set of new top panels for the 36 and rather than sending them to my house and then put to PHX, I figured I would save the freight and have them shipped directly to him. Just have to let him know they are coming.
Just saw him saturday. Check your PM's. His account is all messed up and we are going to meet up and try and fix it. Stay tuned.
He gets it. Took about 45 seconds to explain what I wanted. It's nice to not have to explain why and how....
Oh, I misread that. He told me that his FB business page became very busy and he was spending less and less time on the hamb. He has no ill will, just a priority shift. He even talked about a hamb relay for my hood.
He did it to himself, didn’t know when to shut up and not share his views and then shared them one too many times with the entirely wrong person to share them with. That person being the boss. I recall one occasion where I mentioned that he wasn’t doing anything even remotely HAMB friendly himself and that maybe he wasn’t qualified to share his position on something. I received a thorough tongue lashing from him via personal message. I think that he added himself to the top of his extensive ignore list and just vanished.
