The holes should have a 7* taper for early Ford tie rod ends. You bolt them to your frame so you can connect a split wishbone or hairpin radius rods.
I think Jay Ohrberg started Mr. Roadster in the early ‘70’s. He sold the name and the rights to his products to Speedway Motors but I have no idea when that happened. Being aluminum and bolt on I kinda doubt they were real popular. Functionally they would work but to me they’re clunky looking. Sorry, JMO.
