Event Coverage Send off for a Hot Rodder

We had a send off today for a friend of mine... I've been friends with Clyde for over 25 years and he was one of my closest friends... 3 weeks ago he was involved in an accident in his 29 roadster... Unfortunately Clyde was severely injured and a week after the accident he passed away... He was the guy that would help anyone if they had a problem. His garage was always open and was the gathering place everyone went to.. He always was building the next hotrod ... Clyde was one of my closest friends. We went to countless swap meets and car shows together over the years... I will miss him. We all drove our cars to the funeral home... He would have liked that.... here's some pictures

My condolences, it's so hard to lose a good friend. I went through it about 7 years ago and I finally got over most of the pain. Now it's mostly great memories of Jonesy.

Sorry for your loss. Never easy to lose somebody close to you. You were lucky to have the time you did with him. True friends are a rare commodity.

 

You sent him off in style. Unfortunately hot rod heaven has had a lot of new additions as of late. He is in good company. RIP Clyde.
