That's so tough to hear... too young. My father passed at 60 and still dealing with it 18 yrs later.

Fred never let a transgression slip .. always enjoyed the best takedowns on this forum. As well .. he rocked my ALL TIME favorite avatar.

Missed his posts of late. Now I know where he went. Been a quiet few years. Sucks.

    RIP Fred.

I was afraid of this. My condolences to his family (both natural and here on the H.A.M.B.).

As others have said, there is too much of this going on lately.

Godspeed Fred! His last post was about getting the motor back into his T-bucket. That's always a milestone and he was stoked! I sure hope he got to take a ride in it before his passing.

Sadly I don’t believe that happened.
I think that Fred likely had some more major health issues leading up to his passing.

I’m quite sure that if Fred had been able to reach that milestone he would have shared it.

He was building on a budget to begin with and he wasn’t super close to getting it on the road.

Now he’ll be able to build whatever he wants, just won’t be able to share it with us.

    Once again RIP buddy.

I used to enjoy the "Bucket of Ugly" thread a lot. It seemed to be fast paced and fun. Then Chip slowed down posting then stopped altogether, and Steel Rebel passed and Fred started having health problems.
