Well Danny, there's an old saying in marketing, something like "if you have to work at trying to understand what it means, you've failed". That's my interpretation of it. I had to see your clip to understand your signature.

What was going through my head last night was "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree (honoring your dad). That's just me, super job on the car.

I took the Chrysler to the GoodGuys Lone Star Nats back in March. It stuck out like a sore thumb among all the LS powered trucks. :D

But lo and behold, they awarded it a feature in the Gazette! I want to thank Damon @Nomad for choosing my car out of thousands - and writing a superb article - and John 'NotStockPhotography' for the photos. I am honored.

The article looks great. As said, fully deserved!
I like that the roof color shows in these photos. The other mag article was good too, but you couldn't see the color (it looked all Black). Those tasteful changes are what combine to make this such an outstanding custom.

  17. @Gotgas, just curious of the location of the photoshoot, looks like that abandoned market downtown Fort Worth on Henderson.

Wow, thank you all for the kind words, I appreciate it.
LOL, I could kinda tell he liked it. :D
Honestly, no... it's just "my car" to me, it still blows me away to hear some of the things people say about it. Thank you.
That is on Main St, north of downtown and south of the Stockyards. They're widening Main through there, and this spot was closed for construction. So we pulled in and set up for pictures. :D

Can you bring the Chrysler to back to the '50s? That would be really cool.

Awesome. It does stick out but not like a sore thumb, more like a big ol' diamond.

Not too much to report recently. We took a couple of cars down to Austin for this year's 'replacement' for the LSRU, the Lonely Star Round Up in Dripping Springs. We had great weather and a lot of cool cars to check out, so that was a blast. The cars made the road trip without any issues. We stopped here on the way for cold beverages.

Late last week, I was asked to bring the cars down to a motorcycle build competition at TMS. That was pretty cool!

And finally, I've had the honor this year of getting three amazing living legends to sign the glove box door: Gene Winfield, Clif Inman, and my dad. :)

This car is a proof of the "less is more" there are so many kustoms out there that is too much (and some of them even awful)
