The colors of the finished ones, the rust of the old ones, Old drivers, young drivers!! Again GREAT IMAGES! Keep up the good shooting finger!!
Great photos Joey, thanks so much for doing this. I missed the race this year because I was busy Saturday night and couldn't make it. These photos help to soothe the ache of missing the race. What a great event. Damn, I got to make it next year.
Man, what a cool event. Thank you for all of the great photos, Joey! Looks like a must-attend for next year.
Great writeup and a superb photo gallery. There's a similar but much smaller meet here in the midwest, the F.A.S.T. Four Banger Speed Meet in Northwood Iowa. This was their 18th annual and like you, after several years trying I finally made my first trip. These vintage events have a feel all their own; thank you for capturing that!
Hey @J.Ukrop , excellent photo's of an excellent gathering in a classic place. When I saw the nose of a vintage DC-3 in the background, I had to do a little further research of where this place is. Wow, its simply perfect. Here is a shot of the property, from the air. Thanks for posting, from Dennis.
THANKYOU‼️‼️ Absolutely fantastic coverage , super pics ‼️‼️ How I wish I could have been there , bucket list for sure ‼️
Pretty cool that there is cool video of this event on YouTube . The video is 25 minutes long, made by gofish123, published on 9/27/2021. Plenty of shots of great cars racing, there are shots of @J.Ukrop in the black hat shooting photos!
Fantastic Images and great write up - I'd love to think of this event as "our little secret", but obviously its not - my group of friends and I have been attending it since it started, its something to look forward to every fall and it just feels so right in this location - the addition of the DC3 is pretty amazing as well. As evident by the picture of me in my 47 car, its hard to erase the smile from your face being part of this awesome event. The organizers work so hard to make it happen, and the owner of the property has created a really fantastic, safe, and hospitable space for us, and other car enthusiasts to really enjoy their cars.
Great Stuff @J.Ukrop...And what a Hambfest...literally... High Fives to all the Hodrod/Custom/Race crowd for nailing it with the salute to the Yesteryears greatness...
