Sorry haven't posted this British built kart that somehow made it to the states. Powered by twin JLO motors and its a Tro Kart.
Go carts are among the top 5 or 6 things that are the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Try it, you'll like it!
Okay Guys, I pulled this out of a barn today and would like to know the manufacturer. Any help would be appreciated......
Hard to tell with those pictures - but those look like Rupp wheels and that's a twin engine kart it looks like too........
As promised more photos. You can see that the hydraulic brake was added later and the peddles don't match. Someone cut a notch in the left engine plate to mount the caliper. The wheels are Rupp and the frame looks like a Rupp, but the front axle I can't place. The seat was sheet metal originally, but was removed and replaced with aluminum. the floor pan is made from a detour sign and strapped to the frame. The kart make is still a mystery, anybody out there know??? Well we found it, turns out to be a 1961 Percival Wildcat, Thanks everyone.....
A Percival Wildcat. I have ever seen one of these karts, but I do remember the Hellcats and the Wildcats back in the early 60s. I wonder if this is the same company. I started racing in 1961 Jimbo
Same kart, this is a Wildcat with duel engines, the Hellcat ran a single engine and they were a Frank Kurtis design. Here is a video for you of a Hellcat restored.
Just an FYI...I know it's not in everyones back yard, but Sandy Hook Raceway, about two miles from my house is having a vintage kart meet this weekend. Gene. Sandy Hook Road, Street Md. 21154
