We Love Sedan Deliveries

My love for sedan deliveries, is the source of my disdain, for the van. Haa!
57 Chev SD are my favorite
26 thru 29 Ford deliveries with a rubber rake, sitting as low as you can go.. so good!
32, 3 and 4 boozhie but cool
35 and 6 are thre cats meow
37's are definite fodder for cool
39 and 40 NON delux "conversion" versions.. also, mucho good-oh"

 

That's hot rod fodder for sure! Always loved the '37, even in the seventies when they were overlooked by many.

 

Ugly ducklings, was the common term, describing 37 & 8's. But I've always enjoyed them. I always joke and say, the PT Cruiser "killed the 37 2dr sedan".. being that they resemble each other.

 

We live on a hill, on a street aptly named "Hillandale". Our driveway qualifies as well.
The only way to find someplace level to check fluids, aim lights, set a Dr Pepper down safely, ad nauseum, was to make it myself. Thus, the horizontal ramps ...............

The left one's removable for access down to the garage.

I really like sedan deliveries (I've had two: a 40 Ford and a '53 Pontiac), but as I get older outward visibility is more important than my 'likes'. After driving my '51 Chev pickup with corner windows, I've come to appreciate the visibility it provides.
Wish I'd kept those two as my 401K, though!
