One small one in the rear side window that I can't get a picture of (too small) that says
"If you have to ask...you'll never understand".

The Mobil oil Pegasus decals became hard to find when they merged with another outfit that decided to protect the trademark.

    Hello,

“WHAT DECALS DID YOU HAVE ON YOUR CURRENT RIDE” Makes me want to ask the question:

Does anyone have a sticker from the 1960-70s era of the original C&O Stick Hydro Company from Inglewood-Torrance-Gardena, CA? The team at C&O of Gene Ciambella, Pat O’Brien, with Steve Montrelli doing a lot of the work, too.

I am in the process of drawing or recreating the Yellow oval sticker from the C&O Stick Hydro Company. I would like a photocopy of an original for my files. My drawing needs some information from the crunched up bottom area of the sticker.

I once had a drawer full of them as a gift from the folks at C&O in Torrance. CA. Since it was the first Stick Hydro put into a street/strip use sedan, it was pure advertising. They knew I would be driving my Impala to school and work. Then, the rest of the weekend and vacations, all over So Cal.

But, it was the cruising on the weekends that their company would get the most exposure. When I told them where we usually went on our road trips, they were impressed, Harvey’s in Downey, Oscar’s in Lakewood, Grissinger’s and Ken’s in Bixby Knolls and Hody’s in South Long Beach. Plus, all over Orange County, plus the rest of Los Angeles area places were included, too.

They wanted to put a huge version on my rear window of the 58 Impala. But, when placed on top with the backing to see what it would look like, it blocked the whole rear ward vision. So, I declined. But, they gave me a lot of smaller oval yellow stickers for the side windows and to give out to my friends.

    Thanks, @EdGrist

The C&O sponsored Willys A/Gas Coupe of the Grist Brothers had one on their door windows.

My old truck has a @bchrismer mustache wax sticker, because he pretty much introduced me to traditional rides and I figured I could provide some free advertisement in return. It also has a old Cain's ballroom sticker that was on the truck when I bought it in tulsa, which is ironic because most music played at that old dancehall is the same music you can hear from my garage any given evening or weekend so I decided to keep it.

Nada/none/0 Not a sticker guy ever but had a nice collection on my race shop wall back then from parts purchased. On my racers the only stickers ever were from someone/company that gave me parts/services/contingency money required sticker. I remember way back 60's it was a fad to put all the cam/carb/header/speed equipment on rear quarter window, we called that a full race window car. LOL
