Im looking forward to the fall jefferson show this weekend. If its anything like the spring show i will be happy. The spring show had good weather and a outstanding crowd. The buyers and sellers were aggressive. I sold alot and bought more than ever. There are still alot of good parts at that show. Im ready for a big bar.
it had been alot of years ago that i spent three large at a swap meet on smaller ticket items. this past spring show i did. i dont know if last years cancelled show do to covid had something to do with it. im thinking people just wanted to get out to a swap meet. both buyers and sellers. like any show seeing through the junk stuff revealed some real treasures for me. im doing a frame off day two 66 Chevelle. i have had the car since high school class of 84. i checked off the list a lot of rare items i was looking for. im still looking for a perfect cool can; formula one super stock front runners and bbc mickey thompson super scavenger headers.
I'm not going to make it this fall. Jefferson usually ends up being a $50 round trip if I don't buy any parts at all. My wife and I have been out of town the last two weekends and we have another weekend away in a couple weeks.. Finances tell me its a "no go" for Jefferson this fall. I'm already missing that Kent's big bar! Gene
I will be there with some cool parts. Selling my original moon tank, polished Hilborn injection, Brodix small block heads, and some other cool stuff, come look me up. Tony
Great weather today and lots of great parts to be had. I'll never complain about a sunburn in September! It took me all day to walk through the grounds once. Every vendor space was full. I was not able to take too many photos as I had a lot of ground to cover and I kept moving. Here's the photos I took...
I couldnt get any photos my arms were full all the time. Great weather. Both the spring and fall show had it. I think they must have lifted the covid cap. A lot more venders.
My daughter and I drove the T Roadster. Had a good time, bought some parts, saw some cars, had a BIG BAR.
The last pic brought a smile to my face. That kid is having FUN! Wish I was there, it's been a long time since a Spring, or Fall Jeff event for me. Always a fun trip w/a best friend - now deceased. Hope you guys score... Marcus...
Mmmmm...Rust...Very Little Rust...BIG bonus for sure, that's some great projects and stuff...thanks for sharing Hambers...
Already put one of my $10 finds to use. Last fall the fan pulley on my Model A broke and it’s been out of commission. eBay fans were ~ $80, swapmeet bargains are great.
@DDDenny The sign and the grill shell belong to HAMBer @continentaljohn Drop him a DM as he may still have them. He is a SUPER nice guy.
