from what I remember, Company called "Deuce Customs"made a few Coddington roadster
this fall on show car was taken to LARS and was for sale,do not know if sold,have not seen
it back in Aussie.I did not know rodder who built it .maybe other Aussie Rodders

One of the nicest panel trucks we have seen was parked on a busy street in Corona Del Mar, CA The area was full of 1960s history and lore, with So Cal drive-in cruising, the Little Corona Beach just a block or two away, the public, but hidden Corona Del Mar Beach and Jetty with its waves, even the Balboa Ferry is a short memory trail, closer to the harbor.

So, it was a surprise to see a cool orange GMC panel van sitting on a parallel side street.

We had plenty of space in the back of our 1940 327 powered Ford Sedan Delivery. Although this panel van would have almost twice the room and plenty of headroom for all kinds of activities and storage.

If my wife and I did not already spend 4 years driving all over So Cal and beyond in our old 327 powered sedan delivery, this GMC Panel Van would have been a great purchase for our local pandemic road trips.

We had business to take care of in that general area the following week. The orange GMC Panel Van was gone. So, it must have sold with the great advertising location with 1000s of cars and people driving by each day/night. Summer sales can be good and fast.

 

My Buddy Dave has 2 orange cars, a 47 coupe that you can see behind my RPU and also the 27 T that I posted earlier.
