Five years ago a bunch of guys around Winston Salem, NC had an idea for an annual invitational show for traditional Hot Rods and Customs. The first show was small and promoted mostly by word of mouth. The second was a little bigger...and so on until the year 2021 saw the ONSI burst onto the streets of the City of Winston Salem with a flash that portends great things for the future as this show does not dissappoint. I made the two hour drive over to Winston Salem on a stunning early Fall Saturday, arriving about 10:30 to see the cars being parked and for the next couple of hours I walked Liberty Street snapping pictures of some great traditional cars. Put this one on your calendar for next year for sure! I'm getting tired of resizing photos...full high rez gallery is at: https://tombo.smugmug.com/Old-North-State-Invitational-2021/ Ooopps...I left out my favorite shot of the entire day. This photo speaks volumes about that age old triangle...Man...Woman...Hot Rod.
Thanks for the pics. Sorry I missed it but I had plans to go see my football team get beat in Raleigh.
I attended all three days; have a boat load of pic's that I have yet to upload. This event gets better every year!
Here's a small sampling. Day 1 was a cruise; Day 2 was the Winston Salem take-over. Day 3 found us at Caraway Speedway where we got to do laps. Sorry my pic's suck!
Good times...Thanks for capturing this great show @seadog... Thanks to the others sharing additional captures and stories...
