Hot Rods 40 ford hood rubber [cushions,plugs ] question ?

    anyone have a photo of proper placement on rubber stops on lip of hood to prevent rubbingon fender , any help appreciated , thank you

    ON THE SIDE LARGE OVAL FRONT NEXT TWO LOOK THE SAME SIZE REAR SMALLEST . IN THE CENTER LARGE TWO SMALLER TWO ON OUTSIDE OUTSIDE EDGES NOT SURE THIS IS RIGHT BUT IT IS HOW I DONE IT .     Those fender bolts are special too. Stock ones are a very low head to prevent rubbing.

    40 years ago I used a lathe to make new fender bolts with low profile heads from
    standard carriage bolts. Turned out great.
