I have the chance at some almost free parts.
This is for a ford 8.8 that would fit in my wagon.
The problem is that the rearend was converted from 4 lug to 5 lug and uses a redrilled conversion rotor.
Although these are sold I’m not sure it’s safe with all the extra holes,
    Your thoughts?

They're steel, and the 'pinch' between wheel and axle flange when installed will nullify any movement that may incite a crack.

check out the holes to make sure there are no burrs , you could slightly chamfer them if you notice any irregularities....

I don't see what the problem would be, Guys have redrilled rotors for years without an issue.

As for the 10.1 and something diameter they haul down some pretty fast 93 5.0 Mustangs without an issue that I have ever heard of. They will be lot better than the stock drum brakes in that department.

Think I'd be more concerned with the origin/ quality of the rotor more than the drilling ....

    Good point,
These rotors are available in 4 lug from lots of hood suppliers so I can buy really good rotors and drill them for the 5 lug pattern myself

Check the Explorer rotors. They are 5 lug and fit the 8.8. My 8.8 came from an Explorer and has F-150 11” drums drilled for 5” and 4.5”…

I’m on my way down the rabbit hole of 8.8 brake options.
Ford put the 8.8 under a lot of cars but all different widths and offsets.
